MiTu Community Service Brand Guidelines

The MiTu Community Service Team provides brand guidelines to ensure you, as a group owner on the MiTu Community Service, make correct references in text for Advertisements and Websites for your Group services, products and promotions regarding the Mitusis.com LLC company, the MiTu Community Service Team, the MiTu Community Service Owners and the MiTu Community Service branded logos and pages. We are needing to keep a clean interface and external presence for the benefit of all current and future users (owners and subscribers) so that our site can become a well respected and important feature of every person’s lives. Preserving and protecting your reputation and our reputation is key to your success and our success and these guidelines are the first step to ensure that can happen.

General Guidelines


1.    You can reference the MiTu Community Service online and off-line for your the MiTu Community Service Group services, products and promotions. Your references must be truthful and follow these Brand Guidelines. It is prohibited that you reference the MiTu Community Service and it’s affiliated names as being affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by a MiTu Community Service Owner unless prior written consent has been provided. If you are needing written consent for one of these approaches please email the MiTu Community Service at info@mitusis.com •  (Please include the number 6010 so that we can best route your request):

1.    Subject Line: 6010 – WRITTEN CONSENT REQUESTED FOR GROUP
2.    Your account email address
3.    The name of the Group
4.    The name of the Community
5.    The month(s) required for Consent (We cannot provide indefinite consent)
6.    The content that is being utilized (text, Images, ads, etc.)
7.    The distribution method (Newspaper, radio, Group Pages, etc.)
8.    The reason why you are needing consent and how that will improve the the MiTu Community Service and improve the image of the MiTu Community Service Owners and the Mitusis.com LLC company.

2.    Any reference in any ads should always direct the users to the main MiTu Community Service login or any MiTu Community Service owner login page.

3.    It is prohibited that the MiTu Community Service trademarked names NEVER be combined with your name without prior written consent. (Example: MiTu-Blue Boats, MiTu-You, etc.)

4.    The MiTu Community Service logos shall not be overpowering the advertisements and Website page and should be of the same type and style of the surrounding text.

5.    If you are wanting people to follow your group on your MiTu Community Service group use the following terms:

1.    “Do you MiTu?” <group name>
2.    “Follow our Group at” <group name>
3.    “Accept our Invitation at” <group name>
4.    Do not write anything that would say that a user must “Follow” the MiTu Community Service as that is a given if they want to follow your group they can do so without force or coercion. (Additionally, it should be noted that you do not have to be a subscriber to view the content for public groups.)

6.    Whenever possible use MiTu as a verb, the MiTu Community Service Team sees the nature of the MiTu Community Service as way of living your life, getting things done with a focus on your time as the most valuable asset where we can help you earn time, save time and secure your time. As such, the VERB MiTu represents that notion. Use it as much as possible!

7.    When using the Trademarks of Mitusis.com LLC or associated MiTu Community Service Owner's trademarks, do not pluralize them. This does not make sense in any context to do so without written consent.

8.    While using the Mitusis.com LLC trademarks or associated MiTu Community Service Owner's trademarks, it is critical that you explicitly document that you as the group owner are organizing the event, providing the additional services, products, and/or promotions, NOT Mitusis.com LLC or the MiTu Community Service Owners.

9.    The MiTu Community Service encourages that you use the Group Vanity URL as long as you do the following:

1.    The group vanity URL links to your MiTu Community Service Group and does not go some other place.
2.    The MiTu Community Service Group Vanity URL is in the similar or smaller font size as the surrounding text.

Allowable Brand Asset Icons:

a. The small Square “M” logo as noted in the http bar on the web-browser which would be intended for use on websites as a link to the home page of the MiTu Community Service is located here: (Please right click and "save as" to download.)

c. The Important Button logo that is intended for people to understand when using the MiTu Community Service that it is an important action to follow a group to earn you time, save you time and to secure you time is located here: (Please right click and "save as" to download.)

1.    It is prohibited that users use any the MiTu Community Service brand asset in a way that is deceptive, harmful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable to users of the MiTu Community Service and the Mituiss.com LLC Company and any MiTu Community Service Owner.

2.    It is prohibited that the MiTu Community Service Brand assets be used in promoting the following:

1.    Pornography materials or internet sites/content
2.    Gambling materials or internet sites/content
3.    Drug distribution or use
4.    Illegal activities as defined by the local, state or national laws
5.    Direct harm to persons inside or outside the MiTu Service

3.    We expect you to use the MiTu Community Service brand assets in a clean and respectful manner. Keeping sufficient space around the logos or text will best represent you as a group owner or subscriber as well as best represents the MiTu Community Service such that people will be drawn to participate.

4.    It is prohibited that you combine or overly your brand assets with the MiTu Community Service Brand assets.

5.    It is prohibited that you design or develop Brand Assets that are similar in nature such that other users may confuse your logo with the MiTu Community Service Brand Assets we expect that if there is at least a 30% confusion rate among 100 random MiTu Community Service users, we have the right to request you redesign your logos, color schemes, etc. (At a glance, users should be able to tell which logo is a MiTu Community Service logo, regardless if they recognize your logo.)

6.    The MiTu Community Service team reserves the right to pursue legal recourse if your intention is to generate or create a similar service with similar branded assets. (Please note that we have made considerable efforts to be different from any Facebook or Google assets, you should do the same or find some other line of work.)

7.    The MiTu Community Service team reserves the right to pursue legal recourse if your intention is to piggy back off of our Branded Assets even if your service is fundamentally different than the service the MiTu Community Service provides. This includes gaining or attempting to gain rights to brand assets that could be confusingly similar approximations through methods of trademark registration, domain name registration, etc.  (Riding the tail of success does not mean your efforts can become successful, likewise, this kind of effort reduces the overall brand integrity of the MiTu Community Service, as such, these kinds of actions harms all users, community owners and shareholders of the MiTu Community Service and owners of the Mitusis.com LLC Company and should not and cannot be tolerated.)

8.    To reduce the overall potential clutter of your efforts to promote your group on the MiTu Community Service the symbol indicators ® or the ™ are not required with our MiTu Community Service Brand Assets.

9.    In general when using all MiTu Community Service and MiTu Community Owner Brand Assets you agree to the MiTu Community Service Principles, Terms and Conditions, Payment Terms, Intellectual Property Terms and Data Privacy Policies and any other MiTu Community Service policies and understand that a violation of these terms may result in your group or account being deleted and in cases where there has been sever harm realized to any MiTu Community Service user, MiTu Community Service Owner and to the Mitusis.com LLC Company legal recourse may be required.

Merchandising Request

The MiTu Community Service encourages you to use the MiTu Brands in association with your brands on such things as merchandise and other products, including but not limited to clothing, hats, mugs, dolls, and toys as long as the result is a respectful representation of the MiTu Community Service as a site, community owners, company and service. If we determine that the usage is not consistent with our policies and protection of the MiTu Community Service we reserve the right to freeze your account until proper action is taken to protect the Mitusis.com LLC and MiTu Community Owner brand logos. If the correction is not adequate and the intention is clear to not comply with the necessary guidelines, Mitusis.com LLC or MiTu Community Owners may delete your account or seek legal recourse. (Again, we do not promote and believe that profiting from a general disrespect of the MiTu Community Service provides any measurable value to enhancing the value of the brand for our users and for the Mitusis.com LLC Company, MiTu Community Owners and their shareholders.)

The MiTu Community Service uses a very strict policy for group owner and subscribers to publish screen shots that might enhance or help their group. The reason being is that it is critical that we protect the identify of users that may have followed a group that is private or a super group that is private, even if they published a pseudo name, it is the community’s responsibility to protect user’s data, even if that data is from a pseudo name. As such you must request permission to publish a screen shot by emailing the MiTu Community Service Team at info@mitusis.com (Please include the number 6020 so that we can best route your request):

1.    Subject Line: 6020 – WRITTEN CONSENT FOR SCREENSHOT
2.    Your account email address
3.    The name of the Group
4.    The name of the community (The name of the community will be part of the www.)
5.    The month(s) required for Consent (We cannot provide indefinite consent)
6.    The screenshot(s) that are being utilized and where they are being put ( Images, ads, PPT etc.)
7.    The distribution method (Newspaper, radio, Group Pages, etc.)
8.    The reason why you are needing consent and how that will improve the MiTu Community Service and improve the image of the MiTu Community Service, the Mitu Community Owners and the Mitusis.com LLC company.

If you gain permission, please follow these guidelines:

1.    Screenshots must be “as is” and unaltered, they should NOT be altered in any way than from their original form as shown on the Group Site in the MiTu Service, with the exception of annotating names to protect subscribers.
2.    Screenshots with names of individuals (including Persona Names) should be annotated to be something different to protect the end user.
3.    Screenshots of any Persona profile will require the written consent of the original owner.
