Upgrade My Level
following will detail out the process for upgrading your subscription in a group. Why would you want to upgrade your subscription in a group? When you join a group in the Community you are always at the Free level. At this level you can be a "fly on the wall" and watch what is happening so there is no technical upgrade if you do not want to participate unless you have made an agreement with your Group Owner as an exchange for other services. In the cases where you do upgrade the following are the steps to make that happen:
1) From your account page, select the group that you would like to upgrade your subscription.
a) You can select that group from the list of groups in the account page.
b) You can also select that group from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
2) From the group page there is a "Manage My Subscription" link that you should select.
3) The next page will be the basic details of your subscription with this group.
4) There will be an option above this information called "Upgrade", select it.
5) A new page will display that will have options called Free, Good, Better and Best.
a) Level 1 is Good and the amount for this level is defined by your group, the default amount is $1 per month - In addition to what services are provided by your Group Owner, this level provides you with the ability to post to the home Tautu Activity Stream and Lacu Blog and to rank posts with likes and important.
b) Level 2 is Better and the amount for this level is defined by your group, the default amount is $5 per month - In addition to what services are provided by
your Group Owner, this level provides you all of the capabilities of the "Level 1 - Good" plus the ability to filer the volume of likes for a post to the home Tautu Activity Stream or the Lacu Blog.
c) Level 3 is Best and the amount for this level is defined by your group, the default amount is $10 per month - In addition to what services are provided by
your Group Owner, this level provides you all of the capabilities of the
"Level 2 - Better" plus the ability to filter the volume of Importants and deliver a Digest of all posts for the day, week or month. (Please see the Notification section for more details.)
6) Select one of the levels, read the Terms and Conditions
and the Payment Terms
and select the "Upgrade Now" button.
NOTE: There are three timing options for payment. The first is one time payment that occurs immediately, the second is the monthly payment option that occurs immediately but the reoccurring payments do not occur until the following 1st of the month, and hte final payment method is the yearly subscription.
7) If you have an Upgrade code, select the "Have an upgrade code?" link and type in your upgrade code in the provided box, then select the "Upgrade Now" button.
8) Approve the Pay-pal transaction.
NOTE: Assuming you have added your Pay-Pal account to your Persona, you will be taken to Pay-Pal to further approve your subscription fees. There are several screens that you click on to accept the payment terms. At which the last one is the final screen back with the MiTu Community Service. You are now an upgraded subscriber for the Group you have joined. If you do not have a Pay-Pal account, you will receive an error that you will see at the top of the page. At this time you will have to go to your Persona and add your pay-pal account then return to the Upgrade page to perform the upgrade.
9) Your payment will occur immediately, but the scheduled next payment will occur the first of the following month.
NOTE: You can decide to cancel your subscription at any time. As we make mistakes, you are free to email us with a request to cancel your subscription at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the end of the month. The MiTu Community Service may decide to Ban you from the group indefinitely to ensure that you as a user are not entering and leaving to avoid paying for services.
