Use the Availability Tool




The following will detail out the process for using the Availability Tool:

Subscriber Usage (Good, Better and Best Levels)

Subscribers will use the Availability Tool to understand when they can expect the owner of the group to be online actively engaging users. The following is how a they would know this capability is working:

1) From your account page, select the group in which you are a subscriber.

2) Go to the home page of the group.

3) On the right side of the Page should be a box that says "Available Hours From:"

4) On that form, it will tell you when the owner of the group will be available for today.

NOTE: Future releases will allow you to pick days and see the availability is in the future.

Owner Usage

Owners of groups will be able to use the Availability Tool to communicate when they can be expected to be online on the group actively engaging users. The following is how a they would implement this capability:

1) From your account page, select the group in which you are a subscriber.

2) Go to the home page of the group.

3) On the right side of the Page should be a box that says "Available Hours From:"

NOTE: If this box is not there, then you have not selected this option in your group setup, goto the group setup and check the box that says "Availability Indicator?". Save and go back to the Home Page. The box should now appear.

4) The bottom left corner of the tool box will have an edit link, select that to open an edit box.

5) Select your time zone, and pick the day you want to setup, pick the start time and the number of hours and minutes that you are available.

6) Remember you have to cycle through all the days if you are available on any specific day.

7) Then at the bottom of the pop-up page is a "Save Changes" button, select to save the changes.

8) Double check your work! So that your results are what you expect.

NOTE: At this time we are only able to provide one block of time a day. Let us know if you need more blocks of time in a day to communicate your availability.
